Sunday Soul Food

It's hard to believe that this is the last Sunday Soul Food for the year. Today's helping is "Biggest Part of Me" by Take 6. Many of us take this time to reflect on the passing year as well as make plans for improvement for the coming year. This song reminds us that we all can easily "begin anew" at anytime.
Peace and Blessings for the New Year.

What Tarot Card Are You?

You are The High Priestess

Science, Wisdom, Knowledge, Education.

The High Priestess is the card of knowledge, instinctual, supernatural, secret knowledge. She holds scrolls of arcane information that she might, or might not reveal to you. The moon crown on her head as well as the crescent by her foot indicates her willingness to illuminate what you otherwise might not see, reveal the secrets you need to know. The High Priestess is also associated with the moon however and can also indicate change or fluxuation, particularily when it comes to your moods.

Boy I'm glad I wasn't in Clinton Yesterday

Since I'm always talking about setting someone on fire with Lysol and a lighter or foaming bathroom cleaner, I had to post this.

This morning the Laurens radio station reported an armed robbery in Clinton yesterday. A woman held up a check loan place using a can of Raid bug spray and a lighter. She threatened to blow the clerk up with the Raid if the clerk didn't give her $400+ (She had a specific amount but I didn't catch the exact amount). The suspect was captured at her home after a city-wide search.

Must Be Something in the Water

David Allen Rodgers was arrested for driving drunk during the Anderson Christmas parade last week. He led the police on a three mile chase with 18 people on the float. He's since been charged with 18 counts kidnapping, assault, and open container.

A few days later, a woman shot herself in the hand after attempting to light her cigarette with a pistol. She thought the gun was a lighter.
